Pulmonology - Pediatric

Group of young kids running outside

The Division of Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine offers comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for children and adolescents with a range of chronic lung diseases, respiratory disorders, reactive airway diseases, and sleep-related respiratory problems.

If you or your doctor suspects your child has a problem with their lungs, our team of pulmonary specialists will evaluate, treat, and manage your child's care using the most advanced therapies and treatments available. We understand that chronic and traumatic pulmonary problems can mean life-altering changes for the patient and families, so we go beyond treating the lungs, to treating the entire child.

Our Pediatric Pulmonary Function Laboratory is a state-of-the-art facility for performing and interpreting lung function tests in infants and children. Our pulmonary specialists will analyze test results and aid you and your physician in a diagnosis and recommendations for treatment.

Your child's multidisciplinary pediatric pulmonary team will include these professionals:

  • Pulmonologist (MD)
  • Pulmonary nurse-specialist
  • Pulmonary function technician/research assistant
  • Respiratory therapist
  • Dietitian
  • Clinical psychologist
  • Administrative assistant to coordinate care
