American Cancer Society (ACS) 
The ACS site has information for both health care professionals and patients that includes disease overviews, treatment options, prevention and coping strategies, and news.

American College of Surgeons - Commission on Cancer  
Established by the American College of Surgeons (ACoS) in 1922, the multi-disciplinary Commission on Cancer (CoC) sets standards for quality multidisciplinary cancer care delivered primarily in hospital settings; surveys hospitals to assess compliance with those standards; collects standardized and quality data from approved hospitals to measure treatment patterns and outcomes; and uses the data to evaluate hospital provider performance and develop effective educational interventions to improve cancer care outcomes at the national and local level.

American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) 
ASCO membership is comprised of clinical oncologists from all oncology disciplines and sub-specialties. The web site has information for practice guidelines, policy statements, career development, and news.

American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ASTRO) 
The site has links to resources for research, economics, government issues, and patient information.

Association of Community Cancer Centers (ACCC) 
The ACCC is here to help oncology professionals adapt to the complex challenges of program management, cuts in reimbursement, hospital consolidation and mergers, and legislation and regulations that threaten to compromise the delivery of quality cancer care.

International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) 
The IARC is involved in both epidemiological and laboratory research and disseminates scientific information through publications, meetings, courses, and fellowships.

International Union Against Cancer 
The world's largest independent, non-profit, non-governmental association of cancer-fighting organizations, UICC brings together a wide range of organizations, including voluntary cancer societies, research and treatment centers, public health authorities, patient support networks and advocacy groups.

National Cancer Institute (NCI) 
The National Cancer Institute (NCI) is a component of the National Institutes of Health (NIH).  NCI coordinates the National Cancer Program, which conducts and supports research, training, and health information dissemination. TheNCI Research Resources page has over 100 key resources for categories such as family registries, genomics, scientific computing and specimen resources.

National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) 
This nonprofit alliance of 21 of the world's leading cancer centers is dedicated to improving the quality and effectiveness of care provided to patients with cancer. National Institutes of Health (NIH) RePORTER 
A database of biomedical research funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). A searchable database of federally funded biomedical research projects conducted at universities, hospitals, and other research institutions. Most of the research falls within the broad category of extramural projects, grants, contracts, and cooperative agreements conducted primarily by universities, hospitals, and other research institutions; and funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and other government agencies. A relatively small number of research grants are funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), and the Agency for Health Care Research and Quality (AHRQ). OncoLink was founded in 1994 by University of Pennsylvania cancer specialists with a mission to help cancer patients, families, health care professionals and the general public get accurate cancer-related information at no charge. OncoLink contains comprehensive information about specific types of cancer, updates on cancer treatments and news about research advances.
