Orthopaedics - Pediatric
Children with bone and joint problems, such as complex fractures, infections, tumors, cerebral palsy, or scoliosis, face a number of unique concerns. Children can respond to musculoskeletal issues and treatments very differently than adults, both physically and emotionally. In addition, children’s bodies are still growing, and they need special attention to ensure proper healing and development.
UK Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine provides specialized pediatric orthopaedic care at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Medical Center ‒ Lexington and Med Center Health Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine in Bowling Green. Our fellowship-trained specialists have extensive experience in evaluating, treating and managing musculoskeletal problems in children.
