Chin enhancement (Genioplasty)

This surgery changes the chin to improve facial appearance and restore facial balance. A doctor on our team will evaluate and provide options for chin improvements that best fit the patient’s goals. The chin can be moved forward, backward, side-to-side, and up and down based on what best fits the patient.

There are two main types of chin surgery. One involves cutting the chin bone (sliding genioplasty). The bone of the chin bone is moved and secured with fixation devices. Another technique uses sterile implants placed in the proper position to give the desired result.
