UK Women's Health - Primary Care, a part of the Center for the Advancement of Women's Health, provides comprehensive primary care services for women during all stages of life, including mammography and other annual exams, specializing in treatment, research and education related to women’s health.
Well Woman Clinic
The UK Well Woman Clinic at UK Women's Health - Primary Care provides patients with a convenient way to have all annual exams and tests completed in one appointment.
This option is great for women between 40 and 64 who are healthy and busy and who have no active health disorders.
At an all-in-one morning appointment available Monday-Friday, you can:
- Visit with a physician specializing in women’s health
- Undergo an annual exam and pap test
- Receive laboratory tests as needed (blood/urine analysis)
- Have a mammogram screening
- Receive a DEXA bone density exam and interpretation (for women more than 50 years of age)
Midlife Health and Menopause Clinic
The UK HealthCare Midlife Health and Menopause Clinic, part of the UK Women’s Health – Primary Care Clinic, provides expert evaluation of menopause symptoms and support for the changes this major health event can bring.
We take a holistic, compassionate approach to care. Working with experts across UK HealthCare – in nutrition, hormone therapy, integrative medicine and other areas, we create a care strategy to get you the support and services you need.
We provide care and treatment for women experiencing changes during perimenopause, menopause and the postmenopausal years. Our menopause expert, Deidra Beshear, MD, MSCP, is a certified menopause practitioner through the North American Menopause Society (NAMS). Dr. Beshear, medical director of the UK HealthCare Women’s Health Clinic, is passionate about providing evidence-based treatment for women during the menopausal transition and beyond.
