The UK HealthCare Transplant Center specializes in providing advanced, compassionate, patient-centered care for children and adults with end-stage liver, kidney, pancreas, lung and heart disease. Since 1964, we’ve given more than 5,000 people their best chance at a long and healthy life through organ transplantation.

With clinic locations in Lexington, Louisville, Northern Kentucky, and Bowling Green, we can provide care for our transplant patients near the communities where they live and work. However, the financial challenges are still considerable. Travel, housing and some expenses associated with demonstrating that a patient is healthy enough for transplant aren’t typically covered by outside insurance.
