We offer eight full-service retail pharmacy locations in Lexington - on campus and off - plus a specialty pharmacy for patients taking medications that require extra care. We also have locations in Hindman and Hazard, Ky. And new locations are being planned for Frankfort, Richmond and Georgetown.
Our pharmacies offer excellent service. In just the last year, UK Retail Pharmacies have twice been chosen as Lexington's Best Pharmacies – in the Smiley Pete Best of Lex contest and the Herald-Leader's Best of Lexington contest.
Our pharmacies are open to everyone and are open-access, which means we accept prescriptions from any medical provider, not just those at UK. We also accept most insurance plans.

UK Retail Pharmacies now offer weight loss medication management services at our UK Turfland Health and Wellness Clinic. Eligible patients can receive FDA-approved GLP-1 medications, including Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, Zepbound and Saxenda, at reduced prices. These medications support weight loss and offer additional health benefits.

SERVICES
UK DME, a durable medical equipment service by UK Retail Pharmacies, provides our patients with the high-quality equipment and personal service they need to complete their therapy and/or improve their quality of life.
We offer an extensive list of products, including mobility aids such as canes, wheelchairs and walkers. We also offer bath aids, cushions, braces and more, including CPAP and BiPAP devices.

Need a prescription after-hours? UK Chandler Retail Pharmacy is the only retail pharmacy in Lexington open 24/7. IT NEVER CLOSES.
Chandler Retail Pharmacy is located on the first floor of UK Chandler Hospital Pavilion A behind the gift shop. Like all UK Retail Pharmacies, it is open to everyone and accepts most insurance.
Not sure where to park? A designated short-term parking spot on the front loop of Chandler Hospital Pavilion A (the new building) offers a convenient way to park and run into the pharmacy for prescription pickup. Free parking is also available in the UK HealthCare Garage at 110 Transcript Ave., directly across S. Limestone from the hospital. The concourse bridge at Level C of the garage offers safe passage across S. Limestone and ends just steps from the pharmacy.
Security is onsite at all times for your peace of mind.
EASY PICKUP &
FREE DELIVERY
UK Retail Pharmacies offer free mail delivery on most prescriptions. Most refill requests received before 11 a.m. are mailed the same day.
We also offer curbside prescription pickup at our Turfland, Fountain Court, Kentucky Clinic, Good Samaritan and Bluegrass Clinic locations during designated hours.
To pick up your prescription(s), simply park in the designated waiting area and call the number on the sign to let us know you have arrived.
If you have previously filled your prescription at another UK Retail Pharmacy location, it’s no problem. Just call us and tell us where you’d like to pick up. We can also help you move your prescriptions from any outside pharmacy.
