My problem is unique and complex so the 4/5 is not a direct reflection of his performance but rather the fact that we just don't have clear answers yet.

Dr. Pittman is the doctor who monitored this frontal lobes mass for 8-10 years, Re immenses 2020 surgery, performed w his resident team frontal craniotomy to excise a WHO Grade II diffuse astrocytoma w IDH1 n?gative mutation, saw me through zero complication, zero side effect recovery and has monitored a clear scan for the 4 years since 12/21/20 surgery. He probably saved my life and has always been absolutely top in care, knowledge, advice to me and family members.

This team lost interest once they decided I wasn't not a candidate for a repeat open surgery. Absolutely no bedside manner or empathy for the extreme pain I was in. The student was clueless as to who I was and why I was there. Extremely disappointing.

Dr. Pittman was in the room for maybe 60 seconds. He didn't appear empathetic toward my situation. I live nearby, so I couldn't imagine if I'd driven and gt; 2 hours.

I've been seeing Dr. Pittman for 12 years and have been released from his care this time. He and his office have been wonderful throughout the last 12 years and he has always addressed my concerns whether they were valid or not. He always spoke to them. miss office where everyone is, and you truly feel like they care about how you're doing and your progress.

Dr Pittman might be the best Neurosurgeon in the state but his people skills are lacking.

Explained findings well but didn't actually discuss any treatment options except 2 follow-up in 3 years.

I went to see the doctor for MRI and headache follow up. While the doctor explained the MRI results and next steps well, when I asked him about my headaches he told me that he does not treat those and did not have an answer for me. I was seeing a NEUROLOGIST, asking about the least complex neurology topic there is. I was asking questions that I thought were simple- as is this medication a good choice for me to be on? And what should I do if I experience more severe symptoms? Being told that he did not have an answer was extremely concerning. As a healthcare worker myself, I know that this is absolutely unacceptable. I would have found a colleague of mine who could have helped or at least told the patient I would look into it and get back to them. I feel that my experience was completely unacceptable. The doctor then told me to hold on and left the room only to send in the nurse who told me I was good to go home. I will absolutely not be returning to see Dr. Pittman
