About

Sibu P. Saha, MD, FACS, is originally from Bengal, India. Rheumatic heart disease was rampant, and he saw an opportunity to make a difference. He got his degree in Bangladesh at Rajshahi Medical College. He completed his residency at Ohio Valley Hospital in Steubenville, Ohio, and University Hospital of Jacksonville in Florida. He then went to Charleston, S.C., where he completed his fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina. 

Dr. Saha is certified with both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. He now serves as the medical director and chief of advanced training for UK’s physician assistant program in the College of Health Sciences. 

Dr. Saha works hard to serve as an advocate for his patients at UK HealthCare.
