Personal Statement

My favorite thing about my job is the instant relief that I can give my patients. Joint replacement surgery is a quality-of-life surgery. There are people who have not been able to play with their grandchildren or maintain gainful employment, and we can give that back to them. This is truly an amazing, life-changing surgery, and I'm so fortunate to be able to do that for my patients.

I welcome all patients. Being part of the University of Kentucky faculty enables me to take care of patients from all financial backgrounds, even those who do not have insurance.
