Personal Statement

I love developing longitudinal, therapeutic relationships with patients. I wanted to serve patients of all ages and be able to address as many needs as possible, so I chose family medicine. Within family medicine, I have also developed a passion in genetics and vascular disease due to research and personal experiences throughout my life. In the Vascular Medicine Clinic, I work with vascular surgeons to provide a team approach for managing patients' chronic vascular disease.

Patients should choose me because I care about who they are as a person. I make recommendations based on evidence-based medicine, but the patient makes the final decisions for their care based on their needs and life perspective. The patient comes first.

Outside of medicine, I love to be with my family and spend time outside.
