Gregory Jicha received his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, N.Y. He then completed a fellowship at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minn. He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Personal Statement

Being a part of an organization that has the ability to drive and to move the field forward on the cutting edge is extremely rewarding. I have an MD and a PhD, which means I not only take care of patients, but I also am at the cutting edge of finding cures for diseases like Alzheimer's. Patient care really boils down to bedside manner, which I believe comes from your life experiences. The art of being a doctor is being able to reach out to folks across the spectrum of what it is to be human. Being a physician and having the freedom to care for patients one-on-one is remarkably rewarding.

      Dr. Jicha and his staff are always helpful and provide us with the steps we need to take. I think Dr. Jicha once mentioned adding a neurologist from Paducah for him to consult with about patient. Her doctor here hasn't recommended anyone so far. (I may have misunderstood about that.) I will give her doctor here another week to hear from Dr. Jicha, then I will contact him for what we need to do and what prescriptions we need to add. We think Dr. Jicha hung the moon and would recommend him with the highest praise.

      Dr. Was patiently watching to see if I had pain and assured me that things were going well. He talked to me about why the procedure didn't work but told me he will check on other options with my insurance. He also spoke to my family about what he would do.
