About
Dr. Camac is a Pulmonologist, Critical Care Medicine physician, and Associate Professor of Medicine from Philadelphia, PA, where she was recognized as a leader in medical education and in the clinical care of patients with advanced pulmonary disease. She transitioned to the University of Kentucky in 2022, where she leads the Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Fellowship Program. Dr. Camac participates at the national level as a leader in medical education with the American Thoracic Society and has produced numerous educational and research works important to her fields.
Dr. Camac's clinical interests focus on Interstitial Lung Diseases, including Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF), Connective-Tissue Disease associated Interstitial Lung Disease (CTD-ILD), Hypersensitivity Pneumonitis, Sarcoidosis, Drug-Related Lung Disease, and others. In addition, she provides comprehensive Critical Care for patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Camac can be found perusing many interests including natural history, literature, and electric guitar.
