Dr. Heiman is so comfortable to work with. She was working with a medical student named Regan at this visit. She had clearly thoroughly reviewed my health issues with Regan prior to my visit as Regan discussed these with me independently first. Dr. Heiman is clearly a great teacher as well!

Dr. Heiman advised me on COVID and flu shot, suggesting new one she anticipated. Newspaper a few days later had article and I contacted her via MyChart. She clarified combined one wasn't coming out until 2025 and advised getting COVID booster and flu concurrently. She was very responsive!

Was attentive both during visit and continually prior to and after.

This was a pre-op assessment for surgery not going to be done at UK, but any worries I had that I would not be treated well - ALL staff I encountered made this an EXCELLENT visit - I felt their care was well above my concerns - Dr. Heiman was so informative and supportive.

Dr. Herman is top of the line, A+ care provider. She is caring and professional and full of information! Regan who was assisting Dr. H. is lovely as well. I'm grateful to them for their care!

She could have easily said this is just an issue that comes along with your different health conditions. But instead she didn't settle for that and started looking for a solution.
