More focused on reading my chart than listening to my concerns.

Did not show concerns for my issues. Addressed everything as benign without testing.

Dr. Marcum is very personable and extremely thorough.

Dr. Marcum was excellent. He actually seemed to care about my problem.

Only concern was whether I had health care surrogate. Very perfunctory exam - no concern at all. Age discrimination.

I am finding another doctor because of this appointment. He told me that regardless of testing outcomes he would prescribe Prozac so testing wasn't necessary. I explained that I wanted to know what was happening in my body so I can make informed decisions about my health. He then said that usually that isn't a concern and stopped speaking to me about my concerns. He then put multiple items on my after visit summary that were never discussed, and ordered testing that was not asked for, discussed, nor appropriate for the situation. The reasons he cited for the testing in my chart were things not discussed during the appointment. I would never recommend him, and will be leaving the practice.

I'm very happy that I can see an OMT at UK, and Dr. Marcum is a excellent professional.

This was my first visi with Dr. Marcum. I was very pleased with him and his attention to my issues and his concern that I receive promp treatment for my health concerns. At no time did I feel that I was being run through the clinic on an assembly line conveyor belt.

He didn't even ask me anything only asked the med student and talked to her. Some of the concerns I brought up were not addressed at all. It took 3 days after my visit for the physician to review my lab work, then when trying to communicate with him over mychart, it's taken over 4 days for a response and still waiting. Furthermore, it's clear he didn't look through my history or chart or anything because he assumed I seen a specialist for one of my issues and put a comment on the labs that I should talk about my critical lab values with said specialist (which I have never been to any for this issue) very frustrated with this whole experience.

He showed a lot of compassion.

My previous Primary Care Provider (Dr Shaw) left and I was assigned to Dr Marcum. Was anxious about this change, but I am extremely pleased to be a patient of Dr Marcum. His listening and communication skills are outstanding, absolutely tops. He really shows that he cares about my health and wellbeing, as will partner with me in my care. Thanks.

Dr. Marcum has a holistic approach. He helped me understand what is going on with my nerve pain after my hip replacement. He also helped me to evaluate my medications. In addition, he made adjustments to correct my alignment which is critical to ensure I regain my walking gate. I am so pleased to have Dr. Marcum as a doctor.

My first visit with Dr. Marcum. I had been a previous patient of Dr. Shaw. I really liked Dr Marcum and he was very thorough and gave me all the options , spelling out what he felt like would be best for me. I trust him completely.

This was my first time meeting Dr Marcum. I really liked him he took his time to go over everything. I am glad he's my new dr.

Was late getting to room. First visit as my pcp didn't ask anything other then who my previous pcp was which he read previous clinic note from. He was in a hurry to conclude our visit. I had to ask for an exam order and a consult for another dept bc he didn't ask any questions. Even after asking for the orders and referral he didn't ask why just put them in and said someone would reach out to schedule. Is this what I should expect from my DO pcp everything I come in, pate with no reason and fast to get me out asking no questions about my health or possible concerns?

I've seen Dr Marcum twice regarding this condition. He's very thoughtful and concerned.

Very thorough. Getting to know me as he is a new primary care provider for me from a provider who recently left great job, taking the Time to get to know my medical issues and concerns and to come up with a good plan of care. Dr. Marcum was awesome..
