Having Regina Marcinek back in The thyroid oncology clinic is the reason that I kept my appointment. After Dr. Ain left and I got a letter of an appointment with somebody else honestly wasn't going to keep it. However, when they called me back and explained Regina was coming back to the clinic, I decided to come and not try to find a new place. Regina has always been very thorough and to the point. She's very honest and really tries to explain things in a way you can understand them. She spent a good amount of time in the room with me going over things since the last time she had seen me a few years ago. She's just around amount of nice and kind, but also honest and to the point.

I have worked with Regina Marcinek to treat my thyroid cancer for I er 10 years. She very patiently answers every question in language I can understand, and shows concern for not only my physical health, but for my, and my family's emotional well being.

I really hate that Regina is leaving! She is amazing! She truly listened, 1st Dr. or NP who explained my conditions, benefits and side effects of my meds and had a comforting/compassionate bed side manner. Would follow her if she were going to be available in office setting.

Regina has been one of my favorite doctors I ever had. She never judges or hesitates to answer any questions I have. She is amazing. She explains everything. I will miss having her as my doc.

The nurse practitioner I saw was Regina Marcinek. She was very clinical not interested in my concerns, not kind or compassionate. She is very smart and focused on getting my numbers to the normal range but did not explain well or show any interest in my conditions.

I like my provider very much.

She was very good, explained everything, answered questions and took 45 min. more time than allotted. She was very personable!

Great visit with the np.

Regina seemed to never believe anything I answered for her. While asking me about different medications and the routine of me taking them she laughed in a cynical way as if I was lying to her? After following up with her on labs of being positive for Hashimoto's and expressing to her that my mood and energy levels were off that it was causing me to stay up late or sleep all day, she said I needed to get a sleep study. I asked if I could have a referral to a dietician/nutrionist, she basically said no and that the medicine for my thyroid (that I've been on for a year) would be enough management for my positive diagnosis of Hashimoto's as well. After further research on my own, I went back to her and expressed my wants for this referral because it's shown that lifestyle changes of what you're eating can benefit any flare ups of Hashimoto's. She proceeded to refer me back to her previous message of a sleep study, stating that diet changes wouldn't help any of my issues but a lifestyle change of losing weight would.. ?? I'm sorry, but wouldn't a nutritionist be able to help that lifestyle change of eating things that don't cause inflammation and my flare ups to happen?? She very much contradicted herself, and doesn't listen to the patient about their own body/health. She seems to think she knows it all and doesn't have a listening ear at all. Her bedside manners were outlandish as well considering her lack of actually caring for the patient. I immediately changed my provider and will not be back to see her.

She is a great doctor and very informative.

Id highly recommend her to anyone needing an endocrinologist.

Regina is amazing!

The doctor used scare tactics regarding my care and when I asked about other options, she didn't hesitate to cut me off and never talked about any other options . I will not be returning.

For some reason, she thinks I am missing doses of my thyroid medicine. I have told her I don't ever miss a dose of my medication because I have been on it for so long and it is a habit to take it first thing when I wake up, but she seems to think that is not the case and told me to use a pill planner, so I just play along and tell her I am using one. I feel like she should explore other reasons she thinks this instead of just blaming it on me missing doses, because there must be something else going on since I am not missing any doses.
