While feeling my thumb injury and telling her about my inability to move my wrist in certain directions she abruptly jerked my wrist in a way that caused significant pain. Enough so that I jumped and shouted. She said she did it intentionally and that it was the definitive test and that she's had patients jump out of the chair screaming before. It was wholly unprofessional and she seemed amused by it. After it was obvious I did not appreciate it she was very curt and dismissive with my questions and new pain.

Ms. Kouns seemed rushed to finish the visit, gave me instructions re: therapy that directly contradicted what the surgeon advised previously, applied steri-strips in a way that did not attempt to close the re-opened incision. Not the first time I've been unhappy with her - Will not schedule with her in the future -

Terrible experience with the provider. Very rude and didn't care about my injury or pain. Told me I shouldn't be hurting now since my injury was weeks ago! Very disappointing and I will never return to this provider again!

P. Kouns was extremely positive and attentive to my needs, asking questions, offering treatment options, showing concern for my physical comfort and quality of life.

For some reason every visit with her I don't feel she truly cares, since our first interaction way back in August 2022 there was something that she said and I have always felt she wasn't caring towards my situation. I would like to change providers but I need a specialist for my care.
