Midwife in training came in along w/trainer I didn't care for the trainer... she was very blunt about if my blood sugar came back high we would have issues and I would have to come back and also made remarks about my weight loss in pregnancy. Therefore she demanded I get an ultrasound next apt. which scared me as I didn't show concern and the midwife didn't explain what caused her concern to schedule a ultrasound. The baby supposedly sounded great and has continuously measured right on the entire time. 3. Didn't ask.

The midwives always make you feel like you are the only patient they're seeing that day. I always feel comfortable, respected and heard at my appointments.

I would wait 6 hours to be seen by Christie. I cannot express enough how satisfied I am with my care when I'm seen by her. She did everything right during the appointment. She was compassionate, she was knowledgeable (answered questions within her scope of practice and recommended I ask additional questions of specialty providers when seeing them for follow-up), she offered inform consent (she did not use coercive language when I declined her recommendation, she didn't cower from her recommendation either, she used language that demonstrated respect for my autonomy and decision-making), she explained what she was doing as she was doing it (even something as routine as fundal height), she listened to my concerns and she encouraged me throughout the visit (she used reassuring language when discussing concerns). After having two prior visits with one midwife in particular, Katy, who did not do these same things, I am ESPECIALLY grateful for the care I received from Christie during this visit.

Chrissie is amazing! She is decisive, but in such a kind and gentle way. She explains everything and asks for input as well. I always feel so cared for by her!

The midwife was wonderful. She truly listened and gave thoughtful responses. I felt like she gave me options and background not just a predetermined path or answer.

Christine shows concern for your questions/worries, is very detailed in providing information about problem/condition; always reassures you that the decision made about care is your choice, very supportive, very thorough with proposed treatment information. Christine always goes above and beyond to provide the best care possible.

Christine is always up to date with my patient history and aware of any issues that occurred between our appointments. She always takes time to ensure she fully answers my questions. I greatly appreciate my care here and the time and attention the midwives spend with patients!
