Chris McGlothlin-Boggs graduated with a BSN degree from the University of Charleston in West Virginia. She completed her Master of Science degree in nursing at the University of Kentucky. She is nationally certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a family nurse practitioner. McGlothlin-Boggs is a member of Sigma Theta Tau and the Kentucky Coalition of Nurse Practitioners.
Prior to joining UHS, McGlothlin-Boggs practiced at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) in Lexington as an APRN in the primary and urgent care clinics. While at the VAMC, she received the Secretary of Veterans Affairs Award for Excellence in Nursing in recognition of her support and commitment to veterans.
At University Health Service, McGlothlin-Boggs sees primary care patients and works with the IT staff to improve the electronic medical record system.
