Personal Statement

I enjoy working with athletes because they are highly motivated and work toward clearly defined goals. Both my personal and family histories have guided and motivated me to become an athletic trainer: With a registered nurse as a mother and a physician assistant as an aunt, I have been around healthcare providers for as long as I can remember. As a former athlete, I was exposed to the concepts of teamwork from a young age. Now as a clinician, I am always learning new ways to help these athletes stay on track and full steam ahead.
