Jennifer Perry, LCSW

Jennifer Perry is a licensed clinical social worker. Jennifer started her career working at Chrysalis House, a long-term rehabilitation center for women recovering from substance use disorders. During her time at Chrysalis House Jennifer provided case management, play therapy, domestic violence advocacy, individual, couples, family and group therapy. After leaving Chrysalis House, Jennifer began working for the University of Kentucky in the Division of Adolescent Medicine. At Adolescent Medicine, Jennifer provided individual, family and group therapy along with providing assessment and therapy services in several middle and high schools in the Bluegrass region. Jennifer has been providing services in the Division of Pediatric Forensic Medicine since 2020. During her time in this division has been assisting with inpatient assessments for child maltreatment and providing individual therapy. Jennifer has been involved in suicide prevention during her time at UK and has been involved in initiatives to help prevent suicide at Tates Creek High School through the event Spread the Love and helping to start the Zero Suicide initiative at the University of Kentucky and within Western Kentucky community health centers. Jennifer has been on the Stop Youth Suicide Board in the past and assisted with putting on the Stop Youth Suicide conferences. Jennifer enjoys running, reading and traveling outside of work.
