About
Jay Tesar earned his doctorate of physical therapy (DPT) from the University of Kentucky in 2010. He received his master of physical therapy (MPT) in 2001 also from UK and a bachelor of business administration (BBA) with a major in Marketing and a minor in Economics 1989.
Jay was a 3-year varsity letterman in football at UK from 1985-88. He worked in retail banking as a retail branch manager before returning to school for his MPT degree.
He spent 4 years practicing in acute care trauma and outpatient PT in Winchester KY. Jay began working at UK in 2005 and has focused on outpatient post-op total joint replacement and musculoskeletal dysfunction.
