About
Arica Rusco, MS, CF-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist at UK HealthCare who specializes in voice and swallowing disorders.
Her clinical expertise includes a range of diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, such as tracheoesophageal prosthesis (TEP) management, electrolarynx training, the McNeill Dysphagia Therapy Program (MDTP), fiberoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing (FEES) and videofluoroscopy (VFSS/MBS).
Rusco earned her master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Kentucky in 2024. She is currently completing her clinical fellowship with the Voice and Swallow Clinic at the Head, Neck & Respiratory Clinic at the UK Markey Cancer Center. She has also received advanced training in the evaluation and management of communication and swallowing disorders related to head and neck cancer, including alaryngeal speech.
