UK HealthCare announces partnership with Lexington's professional soccer club
UK HealthCare has entered an agreement to become a primary sponsor and official healthcare provider of Lexington’s newly formed professional soccer franchise.
Dr. Mark F. Newman, University of Kentucky executive vice president for health affairs, on Tuesday helped announce a five-year partnership agreement between UK HealthCare and Lexington Sporting Club, which will begin play in USL League One in 2023. Lexington Sporting Club will also field youth teams. The youth team kits were revealed during Tuesday’s partnership announcement, along with news that UK HealthCare Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine will provide care for all Lexington Sporting Club athletes. The professional kits will be revealed later this summer.
