Nurse strikes the right work-life balance at KCH

Charla Morrow was inspired as a little girl by the compassionate nurses who cared for her while she was in the hospital. That’s when she knew that she wanted to grow up to be just like them.

Now Morrow is a registered nurse at Kentucky Children’s Hospital and has been working with UK HealthCare for more than 20 years. Since she started, Morrow has become a mom and has been able to adapt her role at UK HealthCare to meet the needs of her family and to strike the right work-life balance.
