Nurse Lesley Lay puts her patients first

Lesley Lay realized when she was 10 years old that she wanted to be a nurse. After seeing her grandmother receive excellent care in the hospital, Lay knew that she wanted to offer the same high-quality care to patients when she grew up.

Lay followed her passion and is now a registered nurse at UK HealthCare where she works in perioperative services. For Lay, one of the most rewarding parts of being a nurse is comforting patients who are medically at their weakest point.
