KCH psychologist Alissa Briggs part of KET Youth Mental Health Forum

KET last week hosted a Youth Mental Health Forum. Alissa Briggs, a psychologist with Kentucky Children's Hospital, was part of the panel.

The discussion examined the root causes of suicide, anxiety and depression in young people.

"The data suggests, clearly, that we need to do more," Briggs said during the panel. "I think, first and foremost, we have to ask kids directly what they're thinking and feeling."
