Personal Statement
I am a leader in defining social justice as it applies to school psychology practice, scholarship, and training, and am a co-leader of the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) Social Justice Interest Group. In general, my research interests relate to promoting well-being via systemic school interventions. Since arriving at UK HealthCare in November of 2014, I have developed collaborative relationships with faculty in the university’s school psychology and family sciences programs and became active in the Kentucky Psychological Association (KPA). When assessing and treating patients, I focus on finding ways to build collaborative relationships between the school, family, and clinic in order to promote the well-being of my patients.
